Today, the company has 4 major divisions. The Car Division focusing on vehicle rental, leasing and transport service contracts. The Express Division focusing on time definite express parcel delivery service across Saudi Arabia. The newest of these divisions is the Supply Chain Division concentrating in providing a full logistics solutions to clients with in the Gulf. The mail Order Division operating as the sole agent for Freemans of London in the Saudi Arabia, and focusing on sale by catalogue, retailing and direct marketing

The Car Division developed successfully over the years with rental offices and counters established throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In June 1993, Hala acquired the Avis franchise for Saudi Arabia and developed strong customer base with international corporations throughout the Kingdom. The company has more than 20 locations in the major cities and international airports.

The fleet has grown to more than 1700 vehicles for Short-term rental, and more than 1800 vehicles for Long-term rental, ranging across all car groups to include buses and trucks. The domestic car leasing operation spans the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers a full range of leasing products. The leasing fleet ranges through all makes and model type and is maintained to a high standard through Hala’s own workshops.

Avis/Hala is one of the first rent a car company in Saudi Arabia to be fully computerized from the counter level, all the way through to the back office operations.

In 1994, Arabian Hala Ltd. established a national Express parcel delivery service called Hala Express. This operation has a network of over 25 offices in 20 cities covering more than 50 locations in Saudi Arabia and operates a 24-hours delivery service to any location within Saudi Arabia. The company has invented an advance information technology program to provide a computerized tracking and tracing system. A team of professional staff, trained to international standard within the parcel delivery industry, operates a fleet of over 250 trucks, vans and delivery vehicles.

In 1984, Arabian Hala Co. Ltd. was appointed as the exclusive agent for Freemans of London in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Freemans is London's largest mail order company and was established over 80 years ago in the UK. Our international division has offered an enjoyable home shopping experience for over 30 years to customers in over 140 countries worldwide, providing fast delivery and full guarantees.

In 1995, the company has been awarded the Queen's Award for Export which is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a UK company.

In 2003 Arabian Hala Co Ltd. on its continuous expansion and diversification program that aims to harness its core competence more efficiently has launched Hala Supply Chain Services Company which aims to combine Hala Express’s unique capabilities in the logistics aspect of the Supply Chain management process with Super Group’s intellectual capital of process expertise and technology. With technological know-how in (but not limited to) Network Design, Warehouse Management Systems, Integration Systems, Transport Management Systems and Inventory Optimisation, the link up between the two companies brings operational excellence, innovation and value creation to its customers across the Gulf Nations.
